Senators voted 51 to 49 overnight to reject a measure to repeal parts of the Affordable Care Act. The so called “skinny repeal” was an attempt to find a compromise bill that could begin the repeal process. South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds was unsure what comes next.
Rounds says it was the best bill they could come up with.
Rounds says they will come back to work next week.
The Congressional Budget Office said the “skinny repeal” would have dropped sixteen million people from health insurance coverage.
