The Watertown School Board received a report on the progress of the Northeast Technical High School from it’s Director Bert Falak last evening. The school serves approximately 600 students daily as a technical coop with 8 member schools. He said focus on career skills begins at 8th grade.
He said the focus is to encourage kids to explore their talents, to plan ahead and try new things.
The new program for the Northeast Technical High School is their apprenticeship program. He explained how it works using the welding program as an example?
