The Manufacturer’s Week Olympics featured 12 teams Wednesday afternoon as they competed in a variety of fun competitions. It was all part of the annual Manufacturer’s Week Observance. Michele Kakacek with the Watertown Development Company says that over 3,000 people are employed by manufacturers in the Watertown area with an average wage of over 950 dollars per week.
She says that over 90 percent of manufacturing companies are considered to be small businesses.
